A part time investigator must commit to 5 investigations, 4 events, and other obligations in a given year. A data reviewer must commit to 12 data reviews in a given year.
There are also physical demands put on the investigator. As an investigator you have to be able to walk, stand, and be on your feet a lot; climb stairs; lift the equipment; and carry bags and cases (average weight 20 lbs) it into the locations. For instance during an investigation you might on your feet and walking around for 6 to 8 hours.
All members of TnT Paranormal Investigators LLC are required to attend team meetings, investigations, assist with data review, and pay monthly dues. Please note that for every hour of investigation time we have 12 to 16 hours of data to review. Each team member must review any data collected on their own equipment as well as review their share of data collected on team equipment. All data must be reviewed within 2 weeks of receipt. This is true whether you are an investigator or data reviewer. For an investigator each case you participate on could take 20+ hours of your time over a three week period of time.
In addition to investigations TnT Paranormal puts on events, hosts a library program series, and publishes a monthly newsletter. Team members are required to participate in all of these areas as well.
All new members to TnT Paranormal Investigators LLC will be on probation initially until it is felt they are ready to investigate on their own. As well as all new members must attend at least two team meetings, attend data review training, review at least 20 hours of client data, and go through investigation training prior to going on a client investigation. This is to ensure the team member is trained and ready for an investigation.
Open, honest, and two-way communication is critical for a great team. The team lead will send out various communications least once a week, usually more frequently, as well as update the website and facebook pages on a regular. You are expected to provide prompt communication in return.
The process for membership is fairly rigorous since we want all parties to get to know each other better to make sure we all feel we are a good fit for each other. The membership process is as follows:
1) Fill out a membership application for the team
2) Participate in a phone interview with the team lead
3) If steps 1 and 2 go well, then there will be a face to face meeting where you will meet more team members
4) Assuming step 3 goes well then we will do a background check on you (at your expense)
5) Then if all parties agree that we are a good match then you must attend two team meetings and two training sessions with the team prior to going on a client investigation.
If you are serious about paranormal investigation and research and TnT Paranormal sounds like a team you would like to pursue a membership with please email us at email@example.com and we will send you the link to the membership application to get the process started.
